The DART board voted to delay a final decision on proposed service cuts, buying time but losing money.

“This [general mobility program] was an attempt to compromise with those that just tried to kill you — and it didn’t work,” said Tyler Wright, vice president of pro-transit advocacy group Dallas Area Transit Alliance.

Funding to implement Dallas's Master Bike Plan Update could be de-prioritized by the city manager based on the results of an ongoing community survey. We suspect the survey will close on Saturday, May 31st- take action now to protect the budget for biking and walking in Dallas!

DART is taking public comments on service cuts that would be required to fund the 5% General Mobility Program that gives DART funding back to the cities. Our transit network needs to be growing, not shrinking- speak out against these cuts at these meetings this June!
