Made Pad Thai with my wife and the mystical wok I found on the street! As a couple who think following recipes are for dorks, we actually followed this to the letter. And that's super critical, do not vibe-cook your way on this one.

One side-effect of my brief twitch career is that I'm a bllionty times more comfortable pair programming through problems at work - I've been trained to have zero shame of looking stupid or making code mistakes, so we get so much more done when working through bugs or brainstorms as a result

Was curious about an ancient Roman recipe from the cookbook Apicus - mussels cooked in leek, cumin seeds,
sweet dessert wine, fish sauce. I cooked a take on it. The outcome? interesting sweet and sour profile that somewhat reminds me of south asian cuisine (?)
