One thing about the current SCOTUS that they try to retain the intellectual patina for their decisions when in reality they're just the most basal, partisan, power politics decisions imaginable. There is no intellectual foundation there, just post hoc rationalizing--an intellectual dead end.

If he’s “proud to be in the company” [of Signal] then he’s definitely already made up his mind, so while he sucks at least he’s admitting he’s operating in bad faith and isn’t to be taken seriously.
