Our country has been through tough times before and we’ll get through this too — together.

If you’re in a competitive House district or a state with a Senate election, you can make a serious difference by volunteering. Even if you don’t live there, you can chip in to some of those races, which is a big help too.

I know you’ve probably heard a lot of this before, but I wanted to remind all of you to not just hang in there, but also to start thinking about how you can help make all of this happen.

And the American people are depending on us to do that because there are serious problems that are going completely unaddressed, and in some cases made worse, by this Congress and Administration. I’m talking about rising costs, health care, housing, not to mention reckless wars.

A lot of people know by now that holding Trump accountable starts with taking back the House. I would’ve said it was crazy 6 months ago, but there is a real path to taking back the Senate too — if we put in the work.

Congress is supposed to hold the executive in check, but Trump acts like a wanna-be authoritarian and gets away with it because Washington Republicans chose to roll over to protect their jobs. It’s time to put them out of a job, and that’s what 2026 is all about.

President Trump is scared. He’s scared because he knows, just like all of us do, that his free rein to do whatever he wants could end this year.
