Seeing The Sixth Sense and the Blair Witch Project as a double feature at a drive in. It started thunder storming partway through The Sixth Sense & we watched the movies through the wipers. Scared the piss out of us.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?
Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

I always adore the Spot's Christmas decorations. In part because they feel like my grandparents' basement, but, then again, the whole bar feels like my grandparents' basement. Either way, the decorations are on point. 🌲

One of the better decisions I have made was to abandon Thanksgiving. It is my mom's birthday (she would have been 71 today if she hadn't died at 60) & she did such a wonderful Thanksgiving. It can't be replicated so I don't try. Typically I go out of town. This year Bayfield, WI!

Due to a job change I had to buy a car which I haven't had for 5 yrs. I got an EV & took it to Duluth yesterday. Adventure! Rolled into town on 2% battery. Finding charging stations sure is different than finding gas stations! Finding the free ones is like a scavenger hunt.

My husband reports that a possum "half his size" is living in the compost and making it difficult to add more food.

My kids went to hang at the MOA today & got booted at curfew because only 1 was 16+ & had an i.d. They went and hung out at IKEA all day. 😂

Last night I took transit with people who never take transit. Everything that could have gone wrong pretty much did - missing bus that caused us to be late, a fight at a bus stop, drinks harassing them. All the things I have just gotten used to but were painful with people not used to it.
