It will be the last 2:30 on his ESPN 30/30. A once talented QB - a dickhead of a person - not disappointed with his coda.

Couldn’t have happened to a better guy!

Okay, thanks for the context. Makes sense why ICE would focus there - super dangerous neighborhood (NOT!!!)

Been a while since we lived in the TC Metro. Which area is this?

Not the prettiest plate, but we made something a little different tonight at the lake. Cold smoked and then pan seared lamb shanks with a balsamic reduction over mashed potatoes and a side of broccoli. I order lamb when dining out 2-3 times a year, but this was my first prep attempt. Pleased.

Huh. This puts an interesting frame around the US national debt. If US homeowners sucked every penny of equity from our homes, we would still be unable to pay the US debt in full. Yikes! 😳

As a lifer Vikes fan, our “if you only win two games a season” team is the Packers. I didn’t appreciate how much deeper the Pack/Bears rivalry (hate) is until we lived in Milwaukee for two years. I just can’t hate the Bears as much as you guys, and don’t love any of the other NFC teams still alive.

A Vikings-like set of self-inflicted wounds and collapse. Oof, I know the feeling very well, guys.

Good Minnesota guy, that Snoopy.

MANY fond cultural and culinary experiences in Milwaukee ‘90-‘92. Fresh out of law school, finally with a couple nickels to rub together, freshly married and no kids (yet). Any Fri or Sat night started with *which* ethnic food we wanted, and then further whittled choices to preferred dish.

Great pic. Beautiful family. Happy, safe and great new year to you too. I very much appreciate your true conservative, constitutional and pro-democracy takes. Let’s keep fighting the good fight and drive this pho-conservative, fascist movement to the scrap heaps of history.

Also, off topic (sorry), but I’ll take the year end to thank you for all of your posts. I appreciate your objective take on all things finance/economics.

That’s a beauty - enjoy! At that price you should have bought them out!

Just when you think you’ve got @radiofreetom.bsky.social figured out, he pops out a doozy like this. 1985 a go-to karaoke song - Really?! I mean, I like the song, but the Tom “cheese” tolerant line is hard to track.

Ooof, so true (as a 3x lab owner, the last of which is 9.75 y/o and I’m having a hard time acknowledging that her days are numbered). She’s such a good hunter and such a good girl.

Not that many in MinDaks. A few here and there. More likely is to find German/Russian influenced dishes in small town cafes and family meals in towns founded largely by immigrants that heritage (sausages, knoephla soup, etc). Many good Octoberfests, though! Such restaurants more common in WI.
