My annual report-
My bus still sucks with 1 hr frequency and the route still ruined.
The Metrolink gates suck and are demeaning.
This atrocious bus stop, among many, endures 7 years after the construction that moved it finished.
Homicidal drivers still run rampant.

I wanted to see the progress myself around the NGA. Cass is being repaved just around the NGA for its ribbon cutting. The sidewalks across the street are missing at best. A public road is closed because it goes past McKee’s failed “hospital” and its 4 security vehicles, and nature has taken over.
A broken and missing sidewalk A partially repaved Cass in front of the NGA and a warehouse A blocked off (public) road and a closed “hospital” And endless prairie and forest, formerly Pruitt Igoe

Also like highways, data centers do not belong in the city.

Option C but do it in St. Louis for I-44 near the Gateway Arch. Thanks, Mayor Q.

What’s your preferred Hwy 71 option presented:

➡️ Conversion into traditional freeway with aligned trail network;

➡️ Enhanced parkway with slower speeds;

➡️ Tearing out the highway and return to the traditional street grid

Thoughts welcome here & at KCMO.gov

Slowly saying good riddance to mowing the front lawn

How odd! I thought it was the city’s plan to wait to repave and repaint all of Tower Grove Ave after phase one of the connector project

MAGA #moleg working to undo Missouri's 118 year old initiative petition process.

But this would not affect constitutional amendments or statutory changes sent to the ballot by the legislature.

That means last year's Amendment 3 would have needed to pass in 8/8 congressional districts. The measure that #moleg put on the 2026 ballot would only need a simple majority.
Missouri legislators kick off special session on redistricting and limiting ballot amendments
Members of the Missouri House are slated to hold committee hearings on the new map, which aims to oust Democratic U.S. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver of Kansas City, and limiting amendments on Thursday.

All of this outrageous crap is orchestrated to keep the outrage up and make us crazy, divided and paralyzed, distracting from the issues and scandals.

Offensive as it is, it only has power if we react to it, and we will fix it.

A Confederate memorial removed from Arlington National Cemetery in 2023 will be reinstalled, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said.

This comes a day after the announcement that a different Confederate statue would return to D.C.
Confederate memorial will be returned to Arlington Cemetery, Hegseth says
The memorial was removed in 2023 at the recommendation of a commission appointed by Congress to rid the military of Confederate symbols and names.

Good news: 4101 Manchester and the eastern edge of The Grove will finally see activity after years of sitting as a parking lot and mud pit.

"The Yard' was approved by the Board of Adjustments.
dandoelling.com
Neighborhood voted to keep an empty lot. Ignored current economic conditions & the rippling benefits of temporarily activating a dead corner in a business district, and grossly created conspiracy theories to fit their beliefs despite the facts. Just embarrassing. Here's to more years of a mud lot 👍

Pretty significant investment in a temporary mini-pitch concept. Curious of how accessible the pitches will be (free, paid?).

Either way, it's great to have a vacant lot temporarily activated into a third space - especially around soccer leading up to a World Cup year in the US.

No plans yet and seemingly still for sale, but the form based code dictates a 2-4 story mixed used build

Sad day as a family-frequented neighborhood park in FPSE was disassembled for what may be a “better use” on paper.

Emphasizes the need for Chouteau Park to pull more weight in drawing neighbors together.

Those plans in the works, but currently seeking community donors to finalize conceptual plans.
