I went to the second day of the first test at Headingley and the commentators on test match special were talking about the size of the sausages they’d ordered for dinner while being very obviously aware of the constant innuendo.
Tbf I’m not surprised, that morning session was very slow.

I love the fact that he’s so self indulgent and weird. When games are so often a team effort with multiple writers, it’s honestly a breath of fresh air when a game has such a strong artistic vision. It’s also why, despite the faults behind Druckmann’s motivations, I admire TLOU2’s writing

It’s a messy ideas anime. Lots of cool concepts that don’t really have the time dedicated to them to be properly fleshed out but it gave you something to chew over every week.

They were the original Max Payne creators. Saying they have always struggled with it isn’t accurate. They did it great twice and have struggled to capture that feeling ever since.

The rushed feel of the storytelling even feels like it’s by design with how characters in this last ep are like ‘wait why the hell am I actually here’. I know that kind of meta feeling wouldn’t land well with everyone but I really enjoyed it.

So anyway I’m finally properly learning astronomy. I already knew a fair bit but I was never really interested in learning the constellations until now.

The biggest differences are that I neither have a PhD in astronomy or a closeted lesbian (if that’s a spoiler to you did you really think TJR would write a novel focussing on a het romance? I mean come on)

It’s currently happening after reading Atmosphere (TJR’s new novel) and seeing a lot of myself in Joan. Always had a fascination with the stars and the history of life and the universe, wishing to live in pursuit of my passions.
