It's funny to see the sentencing after Trump basically begged the Supreme Court to stop it even though it really wasn't going to amount to much, just him being marked as a felon. He was essentially trying to avoid the judicial equivalent of the stinky cheese touch and he couldn't stop it in the end.

As ironic as this is given how his beliefs may clash with others, this quote from Jim always stuck out to me as an idea we should all hold onto as things seem to get worse and worse. Tyrants, no matter what side they come from, want us to feel scared and demoralized. We shouldn't let them have that.

Legitimately, I think more people should get on this site as a form of therapy. It might be difficult to get a full exodus from Twitter going, but people need sanctuary from all the demoralizing crap they had to see on there. This feels much more relaxing to browse.
