Friendslop typically feels more like a themed discord call, than games where you need to play somewhat optimally, I think at least. Like, how many games labeled as friendslop even have win conditions? But, I don't think it's an inherently negative term,it just has an unfortunately similar phrase.

Kind of reminds me of "nu-metal" where a lot of bands that were labeled as such really didn't like it, some even rejecting it, but it did just stick. I think it's a pretty useful term, since games like Phasmo/Lethal/REPO/Peak aren't like "standard" co-op experiences like say, Left 4 Dead.
