And when the snow stopped, the wind picked up and temperatures dropped. Sunset from Herring Point in Ptown was brutal wind chill but spectacular.

In this one if you zoom in close, you can see a diagonal line of small ice stars from top left to bottom, right, where a bobcats footprints in the snow a few days ago were turned into ice stars

I’m a bit obsessed with the “ice spiders” that form in the pond. Drone views are most striking. A few with me for scale. Most photos taken from 5-15m above the ice.
