Have the Flyers Improved?
Coming off two disappointing seasons, the 2025-26 has been volatile. The question is: have the Flyers actually improved or are they still in the basement of the league?

Flyers doing what they can to survive the Avs right now. That was a sweet sequence by TK and Z, and a really tough shot by Dvo he came close to burying. That’s the kind of goal that really annoys a good team because they’ve controlled play so it’s a bummer they missed.

I don’t get a chance to watch the Avs as much as I’d like, but man Makar and MacKinnon are just so fun to watch. Buttery smooth, always threatening.

His zone entries are down you with similar amount of chances, as are a lot of Michkov's microstats. It could be his conditioning still but I'm skeptical. Ultimately if it doesn't matter because of F1-3 assignments in the zone, why not play him on the side he's been playing at forever?

Well, Drysdale certainly hasn't been awesome during the Flyers losing stretch. I've had a suspicion since his game has gone quiet.
