This doesn't seem to me a very good argument against retrieval practice. That children can memorise things that aren't true isn't an argument against having them memorise things that are true. The fact that untrue and true things exist doesn't invalidate truth.

All schools report attendance data to the DFE in a machine and human readable format. They've put an AI in charge of attendance that can't reliably retrieve that data for a school.

The thing the consultation did not address was whether we think that extending the time frame for ILR/citizenship from 5 years to 10 years is a great idea.
Because I think that it's a rubbish idea.

It does mean that this was their last ever decision, something that you'd assume could be left to states to decide unless you just had some deep weird hatred of nursing.

So you'd agree, based on French law as described in the article, that this is an utterly insane overreach interfering with corporate governance well outside of his jurisdiction, and based on a premise which can only demonstrate ignorance or duplicity?
