ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER is great. Highly highly recommend. Bring your S/O, viva la revolution, love your kids, and then if you’re a true cinephile, go home and watch BATTLE OF ALGIERS after. (PTA directly shouts out this older incredible film for very good reason)

I didn’t know Redford, but I did have several interactions with him when I was in the Sundance Filmmaker Labs back in 2008. He was always on hand for the fellows who’d been selected. During one of our sit downs, he wound up giving me the single best piece of creative advice advice I’ve ever gotten.
