It sucks to suck. And most of us, when we start something, we suck. And those of us with a strong capacity for growth (i.e. taste and the ability to, so far as we're able, qualify quality) are often the most keenly aware of just how MUCH we suck. And that sucks.

I believe when people say, “Christmas Movie,” what they actually mean, without realizing, is “Only At Christmas Movie.” You can watch Die Hard any time of the year, but it raises eyebrows if you’re putting on Ernest Saves Christmas before November.

I can’t tell if that much forethought went into this policy change, or if reverting to the initial 1965 list of degrees was just the most expedient way to cut spending tax payers’ money on the tax paying public.

That was the first thing that was pointed out to me; the next was that the omission of “educator,” could likely result in fewer teachers, and that lines up with this administration’s stated goals of dismantling public education.
