All right I'm done now, have fun and I'm glad the chroma console rips! And also thanks for, you know, doing the kind of tech journalism that has accounts like Theophite putting you on their personal shortlist of reporters we can trust to tell us what color the sky is

There's a funny demo vid where Robert Keeley says, "I thought this would be an easy concept to execute, then it took 3 years and half the company to solve."

The unsung hero on that board is the Rewind delay from Alexander. Imo there's no other delay *that* size that can do what the Rewind does

If you are really into dirt/fuzz, the Octa Psi from Keeley is an S-tier pedal. 3 great fuzz modes, and the octave channel is unreal-- good enough to use by itself, and it can do the Whammy pedal trick w/momentary latching. Lives up to the hype

Orange is great! They had a few odd years initially when they got into entry-level solid state amps, but what they put out now at every price point is pretty good. I love playing through a Rockerverb whenever I can, but not enough to commit to the weight of owning one!

100% agree. I picked up a Spark 2 amp and a Control X footswitch new for like $350 total a few months back when there was a sale, and I play through the Spark more than my "real" amp, even woth pedals. It is CRAZY value for the price

Small as heck too, just sits on top of a file cabinet here

LOL good luck! Always a fun feeling when a pedal turns out to be good enough to get some velcro on the back, then comes the recabling.

I think I've accumulated 25+ Ernie Ball flat ribbon patch cables of varying length for the 12 or 13 pedals on the board currently

Where do you put it in your chain? This is literally the next pedal on my list, thinking of putting it after my noise gate (which immediately follows my drive section) so that the tremolo & other amplitude effects dont make the gate open/close/open/close when active

You know thats right

Both you and Anil Dash reskeeted this into my TL within a few minutes of each other, and we'll be trying this next week for sure.

The comments on this video on YouTube are amazing, it's nothing but love and 9 out of 10 comments are some version of "FINALLY someone who knows how to do this right"

Maaannnn, nobody can say you didnt try. In good faith, even!

I played Little League and then colt league & pony league through high school, and after games we would drive 10 minutes to get ice cream at somewhere where kids our age hung out. Couldn't imagine packing up and then getting on a 3 hour bus ride back home

This is a great analogy man. And because virtually all of the most talented players play travel ball now, the next generation of sports dads think that this is just normal. Meanwhile the local leagues get starved of resources and funds because, ironically, that's not where the money is
