The reason I tell people to just keep their Twitter account private even if they don’t want to use it is threefold.
1. This. Handles can be picked up after 30 days.
2. In a case where you’re suddenly deplatformed from Youtube, Twitch, Patreon, here, etc. you NEED somewhere to post updates. (Cont.)

It functions. Its slapdash and it's choppy, but it got the job done.
This sets a precedent that this CAN be done, and could be done again if someone steps out of line. Its a bit chilling.
