Thanks for your comment! I’m not sure §242 endorses group knowledge—certainly not in the non-summativist sense held by group epistemologists. It reads more like common knowledge, and common knowledge differs from group knowledge as understood in contemporary literature.

Hinges or #worldview presuppositions are rules in a language-game, which is communicative (ie no private language).
In PI 242 he argues that one must agree on certain judgments to agree to the linguistic practice.
