I know some folks consider it canon because Alvarez said something throwaway like there being 3 Books, the one from the original films, the remake and then Rise. Its a very sketchy continuity anyway, Evil Dead Burn will no doubt add further confusion. I think I probably just love Jane Levy tbh

I'd add Evil Dead into the mix, I guess mileage varies on Army of Darkness and the Fede Alvarez one but I love them all.

I think I only owned them once on VHS, for years my copies were just ones we'd taped off the telly. Always remember our copy of a new hope had been recorded over random Sly Stallone film F.I.S.T. To this day I've never seen the whole film but I've seen the end probably dozens of times.

This would be a sextuple dip for me. VHS, DVD twice, Blu-ray and 4K (septuple if you include the bootlegs I've got of the og trilogy). They'll be making more money from me for sure.

Mine will always be broadly similar. The only thing that skews it is I listen to a podcast that does deep dives on artists careers, so whoever is the subject of their latest season usually ends up in my top 5.
