Good write-up as usual. I saw people suggesting that JK was right to face-guard Rui as Reeves had an easy pass if he comes to help, but that didn’t make sense to me. Forcing the pass seems a way better option than an open layup.

This is the thing that keeps me unconvinced about his star potential. He thrives in certain situations but is decent at best in disadvantageous situations. Still a good player and I’m sure he’ll have a long career but I don’t see The Guy™️ in him that others do. I’d love to be wrong about him tho

I’m actually surprised at the negative reception. My friends and I love modding Fromsoft games and doing randomizer challenges etc., especially in co-op, so this game sounds tailor-made for us. We also play a ton of roguelikes so maybe we’re just in the right demo but still. I’m excited too.

I’ve disconnected from basically all Warriors online spaces cuz I’m tired of how toxic Dubs fans seem to get. It’s embarrassing.

Love this book forever. I’m rereading it for school stuff and I’m always struck by how often I find myself thinking something like “okay so THIS part is real and this part is made up,” before remembering that it’s a novel and it’s all made up. It’s a unique experience. Hope you enjoy!

Seconding the “disagree with everything” thing. If you look at their profiles you can see them using the same sentence structure for everything. I saw one that was clearly set up to be snarky and it had the same pet phrases to convey that tone in 100% of their replies. Weird stuff.

It matters for tiebreakers within a group. If two teams have the same record coming out of group stages, seeding is decided by other factors including point differential.
