Since this will never happen, here's my proposal for #MLS realignment and general season improvements. IMO the season is too long to hold fan attention, and the two-conference setup keeps some teams from playing each other for too long. Years, in some cases.

Taughannock Falls from the north rim trail. With beautiful, sunny weather, we stopped at this New York state park near Ithaca on the way home from our trip to view the solar eclipse.
