Hey journalists, if you have not already done so, now is the time to file a FOIA request for Mar-a-Lago report so that it can’t be destroyed by new DOJ leaders when they take over. If (when?) dismissal or pardons of co-Ds occur, there will be no legal basis for refusing to comply.

I read today that social media rewards cruelty, and the recent Australian ban of those under 16 years of age from using it makes more sense.

Tonight, I watched Hamilton again- and the mental gymnastics required to accept that the US was THAT country 8 years ago really speak to how volatile is the experience and experiment of our republic. I imagine participation in that revolution also felt like whiplash for that time’s populace.

We have been here before, since we exist within systems whose aims are seemingly to rid educational standards of, thereby starving generations of, knowledge of our history.

Heard/read about the ‘benevolent despot' and 'the paradox of tolerance' today. The way both of those counterintuitive ideologies led to our current crisis of constitutionality can absolutely be regarded as a (fatal?) flaw of a free & open society. I still do believe in the Constitution, of course.
