I have no interest in nitpicking announcers (normally), it's a tough job and things move quickly, but man, there was nothing sharp about that broadcast.

They are! And that's b/c they're well coached and disciplined, but the idea of playing a huge game penalty free, while the visitors get a handful of ticky tack calls and need two reviews to reverse awful calls isn't great. Will be curious to see the pro bowlers on the inside of the Iowa OL on tape.

The hands to the face was a hands to the jersey, the PI calls extended or ended drives. If you want to call ticky tack, so be it, call it both ways. Zero penalties to the home team needing every inch for an upset is insane.
