Man oh man, this RULES

Whoof, Bluesky shellacked the colors on this one! Here's the black and whites, anyway

VERY true. You gotta have a sense for how many babes a specific work calls for -- too many babes in a Serbian genocide story and you aren't taking the subject matter seriously, too few babes in a Conan the Barbarian story and you're driving the car with one headlight

And like, storytelling is all pointillism, it's the reader building out the world in their heads based on what information you give them — so if you're not careful, they can triangulate a version of the world that DOES NOT square with what you have planned for it. But yknow, sometimes that works out
January 27, 2026 at 5:49 AM
Oh that's very good, I totally see it
January 27, 2026 at 5:17 AM
Yeah! It had been a little too long since we saw a hyper specific looking weirdo

We gotta take care of our gear if we want it to take care us, right
January 27, 2026 at 3:51 AM
One last thing: you do need at least one babe. One conventionally or convention-adjacent hot person. Gender doesn't matter, but you need minimum one. This is one of the rules I don't make, it's just a fact

Oh also don't forget to put kids and old people in your comic. I always forget the kids, but even as a background element they create a sense of history that extends before and after the present story, which is important for stakes as well as verisimilitude
January 26, 2026 at 10:12 PM
Oh man I had no idea, that was a heater
