One of the most believable parts of the Bills Holiday movie on hallmark is that the old people saved everything. Bubble gum from the 80s.. Christmas gifts from a stranger… saved for decades.

I hope Phillip Rivers doesn't play any late games. As a guy who's slightly older than him, you get tired after 4pm and not as effective. 1pm games are perfect.

If I see one more wr screen at the LOS this season, it will be too many.

Road races: Here is your packet, there is a band, pens, advertising for real estate, and a bunch of other stuff you don’t need.

Trail races: Here is your bib, don’t get captured and please drink your beer in the back parking lot. We have excellent maps.

My son is getting a solid lesson in Bills heartbreak tonight.

Skattebo runs like he won’t remember the game.

I’ve been cruising the Bills sub Reddit for parking options for tomorrows game and they range from “bring beer and yell go Bills and people will welcome you” to “if you gotta cross the creek, use the cinderblocks that got put in last week”. I love America and Bills Mafia.

I ran a 1/2 marathon yesterday and all of my secondary muscles hurt. I realized if want to get fast at running 1/2s, I need to keep running more than 10 miles at a clip. This is gonna be a hard journey.

Going to other peoples estate sales really makes you think about how much crap you have in your house, who's going to deal with it once your gone. What you value dearly will be sold for $30.

I’m going to drop an L for fantasy because I started the Bills D & sat Keon Coleman. I’d do it again in a heartbeat because the Bills got the W.

Ran 9 out of 10 miles today on a group run with some great conversations. At mile 9, someone in my pace group decided to let us know that they viewed undocumented people as criminals. The last mile was dead silent.

Reactivated my instagram account for two weeks. Screen time jumped by over 1 hour a day. Just deactivated my account again.

Why are so many people out taking walks with weighted vests? I saw a least a half dozen of them this morning on my morning run.

3 points is 3 points, but Arsenal has some work to do. Gök is going to have to learn to be more physical and fight for ever inch.

So nice to see an Arsenal lineup where they have a bench that’s not all
academy players.

I’m on book 14 this year and it’s only August. I’ve read one book of cultural value, but it was a WW2 book, so sort of cheating but technically not because I was able to tell my wife about the book in an educated fashion.
I’ve learned that I like to read trashy books of no cultural value. I like to read to relax. Since I figured this out, I’ve polished off 2 books in the last 2 weeks.

I just want to live in a house with an outdoor shower. I want to put one in my back yard by the pool, but the Mrs says no.

I went on a long run this morning and I realized, all the old guys outside drinking coffee and watching people are usually up at work at 6:45am… this is how they relax. By not doing anything important before breakfast. Is this my future? Most likely.

Whoever is in charge of pushing out notifications to ParentSquare for my school district is clearly on an 11 month contract because crickets all of July. August 1st? Notifications galore.

I like it when I get the texts from Resy telling me I have 30 minutes to be at my reservation. Let’s me know I can have a pre dinner beer without worry.

I’m going to delete the 10-15 fundraiser emails I’m sure I’ll get from the Democratic Party. I understand why they are sending them, but I will not give money until the gerontocracy steps aside.

I’ve uttered the phrase “changes in latitudes cause changes in attitudes” three times this week… in need of a vacation.

My son has brought up the idea of a neighborhood fantasy football league amongst his friend group and has asked me to run it. He asked me this at 6:55am this morning after I got back from a 4 mile run. This conversation continued until he got on the bus over an hour later.

As someone who still knows the words to Pout Pout fish by heart, this is 100% the right move. Or buy new parents dinner… your call.
Also to non-parents, the board book gift failure rate is like 90%. Get them clothes instead. Anything that fits or is a little big will get some reps no matter how ugly or uncomfortable.
