A group of women and myself while using the airport toilet facilities in Athens were wondering: was it so difficult to add coat/bag hooks behind the doors or was it so expensive? Seems like an intentional oversight for such a major operator like FRAPORT.

This Mediterranean monk seal was found dead in the area of Anavyssos, Greece, last week.

After an on-site inspection it became clear that the male seal had been intentionally “killed with a hunting weapon.” A conscious, violent act that ended the life of a protected species.

A 57-ft Hellenic coastguard patrol boat crashed into a seawall at the port of Volos on Sunday. After hitting the rocks, the vessel ran aground, but no injuries were reported. An investigation into the causes of the accident is under way.

At least four people were killed and 10 others wounded in a shooting in Stockton, California, at a banquet hall where a family was hosting a celebration Saturday evening, local authorities said.
