Battlecon has themes for at least some of its characters.
It's not official but whenever we play Twilight Imperium I usually put the Mass Effect OST on shuffle for background noise.

Hard to say, there's the classic with fantastic art and flavor text, Grip of Amnesia is funny, especially when your friend plays reanimator, and I like Abjure and FoW for their function in my Bruna and Ovika decks respectively (Also casting FoW for the first time and having an "I get it." moment :P)

Not sure what the retro market is doing these days, but I'd recommend Rocket: Robot on Wheels. Fantastic platformer that I think has gotten a bit more recognition lately but still bit of a hidden gem (or at least I rarely see it mentioned).

I like my Child of Alara deck, it's a fun way to turn the usual Child of Alara decks on their head (and a rare case of "Not THAT [X] deck" actually not being THAT [X] deck).
