Especially given that one of the strongest "vote Labour" arguments at GE29 will be "stop Farage" and the quickest way to undermine that is to have immigration policy that people who are sympathetic towards immigrants think is basically the same as Farage.

The problem is not Reform, just as the problem is not Donald Trump. The problem is the entire right-wing and the consistent coddling of them and elevation of their narratives by both mainstream media and their main political opponents. In this regard, Keir Starmer is as culpable as many others.
