That is a Curious King edition. It really is absolutely gorgeous!

Definitely a worthy series to start a fancy pants shelf with!

I have plenty more small/fine press books around, but these represent the absolute pinnacle of bookbinding as an art! Will have to do a tour of the presses on my shelves at some point…

And I need to boost the artist here as well - Maura OConnor is not someone I was familiar with but her art really suits the book here!

It really is. Suntup books are works of art in and of themselves!

I have been able to snag all their other books in public preorder but it is super stressful (Hitchhikers sold out in 5 minutes!). These are premium books but they are so worth it if you love the artistic perfection of fine press books!

Can recommend The Blacktongue Thief by Christopher Buehlman, Cold West by Clayton Sneider, In the Shadows of Their Dying by Michael Fletcher and Anna Smith Spark, Never Die by Rob J Hayes (or any of his mortal techniques books to be honest as they all exist as standalones)
