This is still my advice: Become a writer anyway. Fuck it, do it, it won't save you, but it's still a beautiful dream to write novels and short stories and poems and mingle with other dreamers and make art and laugh in the face of death. And writing is constant death. Live más.

Found a tool that allowed me to more easily find and follow all the folks I used to follow on the hell site and now this place feels more comfortable by far.

In feeling increasingly anxious about the safety of online writing, I’ve been turning back to notebooks, diaries, binders, and sketchpads. Pen on paper has been remarkably calming and helps to relieve some of that concern for privacy.

I’ve been looking for new art to decorate my apartment and the amount of AI generated garbage I’m seeing absolutely flooding places like Etsy is real disappointing.

A kickstarter I’ve been expecting is finally fulfilling and I got a notification that my package would be delivered tomorrow… from Germany… even with Amazon warping my perception about how long these things should take, I feel like that’s a bit fast?!

I’m fascinated by train stations right now, and the feelings around waiting for a train, lingering in a train station, making sure you get off at the right stop. It’s a mundane thing, but so rife with meaning. Gotta track down media that deals with station hopping as a metaphor.

Moving is an amazing opportunity to reevaluate basically any pattern or behavior and decide if it’s something you want to bring forward with you.

I’ve been playing thru Lies of P and there’s just so much about it that reminds me of other games I’ve loved. It wears Bloodborne well, but so many things are making me think of NieR and Automata too.

Y'all, I have not watched Riverdale in like three seasons, but I am just astonished that they somehow found the most Riverdale thing to put in the series finale. I was like, "how can they top witches, superpowers, time travel?" ... They put the main four in a quad… 🤣
