No idea what changed but saw a better attitude, wotkrate, teamwork that nearly brought us back, why it couldn't happen at the start when the team was already at a low ebb is a mystery. A shame the last 10 mins drifted away, really had Villa on the rack most of half, but they regrouped #COYS #THFC

Always hope in a cup tie that form/league position go out the window, so far it's clear who the better team is. They can slice us open while we continually give it away, helpless to do anything about it. Nothing but poor touches, few options to pass to, and no chance to score. #COYS #THFC

What a crazy loss, we let 25 mins of the 2nd half drift before we pushed, Richarlison made a difference, B'mouth subbed their front men, we took control & got some chances, then equalised but gave it away. We played a fragile opposition and let them off the hook, it was there for the taking #thfc

Crazy to be behind after our amount of control, had the lead, looking good for a 2nd, then an equaliser out of the blue before falling behind. There's time & space for us on the ball, no reason we can't score a few, but we have to regroup after getting ragged since equaliser. #COYS #THFC

1st half was hugely positive, 2nd half was a disaster, shows a team that falls to pieces with a chance of a home win in sight, & could have easily lost after sitting back so deep & praying to get through it. Competent reffing would have helped, scuffles near end caused by his nonsense #COYS #THFC

One of better 45 mins we've played, more aggressive on & off ball, taking shots, running at defence. Not everything is coming off but important thing is attempting it. Penned them in much of the half, playing like a home team should. Slightly quicker passing in middle will be welcome #COYS #THFC
