Oh, she's gone all in on his anti-science BS. The price of cowardice, I guess

Cheryl Hines gets to read the NYT say that, actually, her husband's affair was super cool. Romantic even.

"Here's the other woman. We photographed her real sexy-like for you, too."

I say we bring back those interactive ads where you throw pies or shoot nerf guns at George W Bush.

"Is it ADHD or high IQ? Knock down these carnival game ducks with the president's head on them."

I'm losing my mind that the defenses keep boiling down to it but being newsworthy even if they had known about it.

"A guy...talking about old girlfriends..."

"No more division" thrown in at the end like The Simpsons "We must go forward, not backward. Upward, not forward. And always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom."

Oh, man. The other Slim Shadys from The Real Slim Shady video got old.

This election confirming priors from all sides of the aisle

Democrats becoming too extreme? Mamdani election. Progressives moderating tone after a win? Mamdani election. Dem apparatus stifling a candidate? Mamdani election. Some Islamophobic belief? Mamdani election.

The vibes are... weird now. Downtown Boise is still fighting the good fight and has several arts things throughout the year. But the Californian boom has made the greater Boise area much more connected than it used to be. Californian conservative vs Idaho conservative means things just kinda... are.

Depends on the season. Still super white, but I hesitate to call it dangerous. Especially since Tamarack ski resort is actually being built. It's closer to Boise, but Horseshoe Bend is far worse for vocal MAGA.
November 6, 2025 at 1:59 AM
But McCall is south of Lewiston and north of Horseshoe Bend

"Hm. These other candidates who only ran against Republicans got a higher percentage of dem voters than the guy who had to run against another Democrat. Truly a mystery how the other two percentages were higher."
November 5, 2025 at 2:25 PM
Just as long as you ignore the record number of people that voted for him.

Percentages is some Rotten Tomatoes-ass analysis

Austin Powers has several alternate endings where he's on a raft at sea. I didn't get what the joke was as a young teen until I saw how many Bonds end with him on a raft... while he and a woman ignore rescue because they're banging

But remember the *last* Virgina gubernatorial election was a bellweather, but not this one for... reasons.

You can ask for the name
But he'll say it's de Blasio

And he'll take what you give
him as the interviewer

Yeah, he talks to The Times,
but he never said he was the mayor
