I have this model of camera. It optionally can connect to WiFi to view recordings in their app, but can be setup entirely without using the app, and the recordings can be viewed on any computer via the SD card.
But it also includes data like speed and location in the recording by default.

Once mounted, these cameras are pretty hard to get off, and ejecting the SD card involves just poking it from the side.
