Many orgs have switched from asking for clothing or non perishable food to cash. Please ask before you drop off a donation. I’ve seen & donated to Amazon wish lists for specific family’s needs. When all is said and done this will be the most generous community charitable give in our nations history.
Lots of people have asked about where they should donate. There are legit charities of course. MANY ARE NOT. Do your research before sending them $. And for once I found FB helpful because there are LA based friends/family I know personally who have direct connections with those in immediate need.
