I was 6, and a rerun of the TOS episode “The Ultimate Computer” was on. My mom recognized William Marshall from the Blacula movies, and invited me to watch the show with her. I’d never seen anything like it, and was hooked for life.

This Tron: Ares trailer is fine. Nobody cares about Tron until a movie comes out, then it’s everyone’s favorite and “Disney is ruining it”. I love Tron movies. Count me in on 10.10.

This week was the 16th (!) annual AAFCA awards. Delighted to serve this organization as Vice President, but also, it’s one of the few nights I get to geek out about movies and stuff. I met Ruth Carter and almost lost my mind.

Ok so then it turned into a nice live premiere with the cast. Short interviews, the English actors got to remind us of their accents. Pedro is committed to the mustache.

The Fantastic Four event has been archival footage of old rockets and moon landing equipment for the past hour. It’s like video you’d see at a museum. There’s also reference to Future Foundation. No explanation.
