@nickdesemlyen.bsky.social Listening to the 30th Anniversary soundtrack to Die Hard (thank you Santa) and surely this has to be a significant piece of evidence supporting the case that this movie, is indeed, a Christmas movie.

Had the best time at the Theakstons Crime Writing Festival this year and a lot of that was due to the people - familiar faces like @lifeofcrime.bsky.social and Martyn and new friends like @anniedyer.bsky.social and @paulgitshamauthor.bsky.social and their lovely spouses. Amazing people!!

it's been nearly 30 years since I first heard this remix DJ Shadow put out that incorporated a bunch of dialogue from 'Heat' into his track "Stem" and I am happy to find out that someone out there did the inevitable and made a dialogue-matching sync of it for YouTube
