I think the reason we tend to default to those contexts is because of the implication of adverse circumstances. Yes, love can be all those gentle and lovely things, but there’s a reason detergents are advertised tackling tough stains and not pristine dishes and clothes.

Addendum: I also sent a request to a religious school. They never got back to me.
I’m kinda glad, though. I probably would have been a corrupt menace as a preacher.
