I like to read the bills in the US House and NC House myself rather than rely on the media to tell me what to think about them. It has been revelatory.

No DM's, porn, crypto, or gofundme.

The GOP not only voted against this, but they passed HR 2811, Limit, Save, Grow Act, which is a wish list for the oil & gas industry. Check it out for yourself you can find it on congress.gov
FYI the bill Trump signed to reopen the govt no longer requires companies to follow food safety regulations.
I hope at Trump's next party, they all get food poisoning.

In normal times, it would be a major scandal for the President to direct his AG to criminally investigate his political opponents to deflect from his own involvement in a major scandal — and for the AG to immediately announce she is doing it. The Epstein scandal and cover up just got even bigger.

Trump calls Americans stupid so we need lots of HB visas for important jobs. Noem calls us imbecilic morons. I'm seeing a pattern here
Yikes 😬 an official U.S. government account just referred to Americans as “imbecilic morons.” That’s… a choice.

Good explanation why Epstein wasn't investigated during Biden admin. Also, unlike Trump, Biden respected the DOJ as an independent dept that chose which cases to pursue.
This is a better answer than I gave on The Source to @kaitlancollins.bsky.social last night.

If these people were less wealthy and powerful, they would have been doing jail time years ago.
@repdangoldman.bsky.social is the best. We need more members of Congress like him.

Wow. You know that the rich and powerful are involved when there is so much cover up for years of Epstein's life and business.

Trump complained about USAID because he said our money was going abroad to help others instead of investing it in Americans. Huh.
WATCH — @repstevenhorsford.bsky.social : “My amendment would redirect that $40 BILLION from Argentina to fund the ACA subsidies for two years… a far better use of taxpayer dollars.”

Why do we have money for Argentina while our own people lose their health care? How does this make us great?

Trump wants to make it look like the insurrection he incited was an unjust accusation by pardoning any involved in it.
Trump’s sham Pardon Attorney, Ed Martin, announced a mass pardon of at least 77 people involved in efforts to overthrow the 2020 election results. This is another unprecedented and extremely dangerous use of the pardon power. Please watch and share. youtube.com/shorts/cHkqw...

RW media is talking about how hard Trump is working on our behalf. Apparently taxpayer funded gulf trips and parties is their idea of "hard work."

Socialism is what they called public power.

Socialism is what they called social security.

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people.

Trump pardons former Tennessee House Speaker who was convicted of defrauding the state and is a sexual predator, and racist.
Donald Trump continues to find shockingly unqualified and disgusting people to pardon. His latest, Cade Cothren, is a prime example. We can’t let these shameful and corrupt pardons fly under the radar—please share. youtube.com/shorts/WoZIt...

Maybe only Trump doesn't understand that tariffs are paid by us Americans.
I always find it interesting how the story changes when a lawyer gets to court. They can say anything they want outside of court without accountability but the rules are vastly different in court where you can get seriously penalized for lying.

On top of refusing to fully fund SNAP during the shutdown, the Trump regime has:

-Cut $1 billion from USDA programs supporting food banks
-Enacted tariffs that have caused food prices to rise
-Made the largest cut to SNAP in history
-Canceled the annual food security survey

Shameful.
