Here's what they look like. And this area is one of the worst around here. But as Finland has pretty decent-ish social security people don't need to break into these to get something to eat, so they're left alone.

The tastes that the posts conjure to me are very much similar to the tastes that are in a nice piece of archipelago loaf. It doesn't really go bad too easily, but especially when it's fresh, slathered with butter and served as a side to a creamy salmon chowder. Oh man. I'm making myself hungry!

Here. The browner stuff is the slow cooked veggies (celery, carrot, bell pepper, red & white onion, leek) blended. The orange blob is garlic+habanero is olive oil. Clockwise black pepper, drying oregano, thyme, fresh basil.
And some red wine ofc.

Slowly cooked veggies for 5 hours or so. Froze some. Blended the rest. Added it to the crushed and cherry tomatoes. + garlic habanero mix, some red wine. Tomato sauce done, freeze 2/3rds.
Then fry up some venison with red onion with that remainder.
Serve with al dente spaghetti.

I try to keep my look such that I wouldn't be anachronistic if a time traveler were to invite me on a trip. I'd definitely pass in the 70's, except for the hairband having play buttons, I think.
