The DRP Steering committee will be taking a winter rest from December 20 - January 11. ❄️⚓💾❄️

We are pleased to announce that we have archived all of the layers from the defunct HIFLD Open GIS repository! A big thanks to Frank Donnelly and all the volunteers who helped out, especially tripleshrimp, ciarra, sefk, and Frank's students!

One of the biggest threats to our federal data resources is the loss of key staff to keep servers running, update files, provide access to data, and dozens of other hidden tasks.
So if you're asked how much it costs to provide access to federal data, remember it is definitely more than $10.
