I really hope people don't get attached to this narrative. Does DB have problems operating reliably in Germany? Yes. But that's like saying 50th best cyclist in the world isn't still an order of magnitude better than you or me.
Don’t know anything about this contract, but DB has been struggling to deliver good service for years. People in Poland now choose the PKP train over DB train for trips going west. amp.dw.com/en/germanys-...

I really hope people don't get attached to this narrative. Does DB have problems operating reliably in Germany? Yes. But that's like saying 50th best cyclist in the world isn't still an order of magnitude better than you or me.
