Republicans know that they've gone too far. The party in power must understand that they have let loose too much chaos and ceded too much control. I suspect that they are just as terrified as everyone else but that's no excuse to not try to stop this careening administration.

I think that the Joker might be more psychologically stable and understandable than our current chaotic president.

The longer this continues the more convinced I am that there is no going back. Whenever this land mass that is the USA is free from the MAGA moment, it will not be the same country. The government (if there is only one) will be radically different.

For the sake of future generations, we need to be clear about both the horrors AND about how stupid everything is at the same time.
Previous recorders of history failed us by not emphasizing the stupidity—and its presence is one of the reasons the horrors aren’t taken seriously.
