I draw, I write. AuDHD, PTSD survivor. Anti-capitalist.
I like sci-fi and fantasy and comics.
I used to draw every day, but that was decades ago. Trying to rediscover that.

I have to do a re-read of his 6 Malazan novels. I don't remember them well.
My faves are his first three Pathways to Ascendancy novels, I think they're hilarious and the action is great as well. I've read them all two or three times, but FotHM only once.

Think that's what he's saying anyway, the guy's screaming over him. Rude man.

It was this that makes me think they're actually under alien control or influence, for the same reason. What possible motivation does that first woman have to spread the virus?

Yeah, I would. They fill in so many blanks about how Dancer and Kellanved got started.
I haven't re-read them yet, but I didn't much like Ian's Malazan novels first go, but his P2A books are much better. He's really grown as a writer.

Yes, it's very good. Esselmont's best Malazan works, imo. The interplay between Dancer and future Kellanved is often hilarious. I thought the fourth slightly weaker than the first three, but they're all good.
