Although I missed it this year due to being with my one-month-old baby, 👶 I was keeping abreast of events and announcements coming out of Labour Conference and there were plenty to get excited about!

Here are some of my personal highlights. 🌹

This week, I’ve secured £20 million for neighbourhoods in Millbrook and Redbridge, through Labour's Pride In Place fund. 💸

Even better, local people will decide how to spend it. 🎉

What would you prioritise? 🙋🏾‍♀️

The shocking anti-social behaviour in Shirley is all over BBC today. Proof we must do more to restore confidence & deter crime.

It’s why I’ve been campaigning for a face-to-face police counter on the High Street.

#PoliticsLive again highlighting a Reform UK policy statement about migration. Why is the BBC constantly giving airtime to a party with 5 MPs and giving grubby charlatan Nigel Farage more publicity.

Millbrook Labour doing our normal weekend doorknocking session talking to local residents in Pennine Rd. Man told me he doesn't vote Labour because Southampton Test MP Bryan Gould never sorted out his problem. Bryan Gould lost his seat in 1979.

This is the energy mix as reported by the National Grid today, with a whopping 74% of electricity coming from renewables and only 6.8% from fossil fuels. 💨⚡💚

For many in our city, me included, tackling the climate emergency is an absolute priority.

Reassuring to see government work bearing fruit.

Just going home after attending the counter protest at Highfield House Hotel. My first time here today but met plenty of Socialist friends. Outnumbered the hotel protest by at least 4 to 1.
