This is really eating at me today. How can so many - especially in this scene - be so damn superficial? Here I am, a middle-aged white cishet guy, and even I can see Newsom's not worthy of praise. Especially just for memes for fuck sake.

The "how?" is kinda rhetorical, really. I know why.

Seeing a lot of folks in the goth/industrial scene willing to give Newsom a pass on throwing marginalized folks under the bus just because they think his comms team is good at trolling the president has been fucking disappointing.

80°F days are over. Gloomy rainy cool day here. Finally feels like Fall. Hopefully trading dysautonomia flair with just plain old chronic pain flair.

I think this counts as a cheerful Goth post.
