I'm a freelance artist who's semi-retired due to disability. Most of my work's digital and leans towards darker themes.

Here's a couple of newer pieces and the other 2 are progress peeks on what I'm currently working on.

How it started vs how it's going.

Left is probably from around 1982 or 83, so I was about 13. Ink pen, low-quality water color, and color pencil on parchment(?).

Right is from Dec 2025. Photo reference taken into Procreate for blocking then PS for everything else.

2025 was the year I got my art groove back. Due to Long Covid I had lost a lot of my ability, both physically and cognitively, to create art. It was a lot of patience, re-learning skills, and building confidence.

#OneOfTheTwo right here. Got covid-19 in late 2019, developed #LongCovid and ended up disabled. Just over a year ago I got my 2nd infection from an Immunologist who wouldn't mask. That infection caused me to literally waist away quickly. @weeklyshowpodcast.bsky.social Jon, you should know better.
