Think firing the entire federal workforce will save America money?
Federal civilian employees account for just 4% of the federal budget. Even if someone like Musk—or any president—fired all of us, it wouldn’t make much of a dent in government spending. Don’t fall for it.

Every job / task / service the federal government provides is dollars that DON'T go to private industry. Seems like the current powers-that-be are interested only in moving those dollars (at likely increased costs) to private companies.

Elon Musk, unelected by anyone, is effectively running the entirety of the federal government, with zero experience or oversight. Sumthin' ain't right.
