It is important to use the new title that the regime has selected, so Europeans understand the US intention to make war.

No, France has not. France proposed this a year ago but it was rejected by Denmark. ‪

France cannot deploy troops to Greenland without Danish permission.

‪France proposed sending a force of pan-European troops to Greenland to deter a US invasion *a year ago*.

‪But as usual when it comes to military matters, the French idea was shot down by the Atlanticist leadership of 🇬🇧🇩🇪🇵🇱🇩🇰.‬

They're the reason we are where we are.‬

The cold hard truth is that the Trump regime has been telegraphing its intentions to attack Europe since the moment they took office. Even before really - it was in Project 2025 during the campaign.

But our leaders in Europe have been in denial. They spent last year talking about "US isolationism".
Europe misread Trump as an isolationist. It's now clear he's an imperialist.
Gaza, Panama, Canada, Venezuela and Greenland are all in the crosshairs of Trump's manifest destiny. Europeans thought the risk was America would leave them alone. Now the risk is America will attack.

The whole point of preparing is to establish deterrence. There would be no point to doing it in secret.

Trust me, there have been no preparations. They have refused to acknowledge, even to themselves, what is happening.

It's a post and Economist article from last April, when it wasn't yet clear if the EU was going to stand up for itself.

At the June 🇪🇺Council summit we got the answer, that the EU would surrender.

Republicans in 🇺🇸Congress are warning that if any European government takes action against X, the leaders and their citizens will face US sanctions.

This is no joke. As I write in my new book www.TheOwnedContinent.eu, 🇺🇸 can shut down entire European economies overnight through sanctions.

5️⃣After some years of provisional application, it will need ratification by national parliaments. France, Poland, Wallonia, Hungary or anyone else could choose to withhold their consent at that time, as they did with 🇪🇺🇨🇦.

The FTA will not apply fully until full ratification. (🧵3/3)

2️⃣🇪🇺President @VonDerLeyen will travel to South America to sign deal in coming days
3️⃣In coming weeks file will pass to 🇪🇺Parliament which can approve or kill it.
