COMIC: An Epic Battle
PANEL 1: The scene is from Lord of the Rings. The BALROG falls while GANDALF and his glowing staff falls next to him. BALROG: HEY. I just want you to know I feel bad about coming at you like that. You were ACTIVELY trying to leave… ACTIVELY trying to avoid trouble..but I “HAD” to stop you. PANEL 2: Closer up on the BALROG. BALROG: It’s my darn temper. I could tell you were trying to be a good role model for those kids. …Hobbits? Whatever they were. But still! I HAD TO MAEK THE MOMENT ABOUT ME. PANEL 3: Fufther back, we see the BALROG still falling, shoulders slumped. GANDALF and his glowing staff still falling next to him. COMIC: The Ice Cream Cycle
PANEL 1: GRAMP, an older bald man with a grey mustache, stands in the dark, eating directly from a tub of mint chocolate chip ice cream. NARRATION: It’s 11pm, so you have a bite of ice cream. Bu then one bite turns into 20. PANEL 2: We see GRAMP in the drivers seat of his car. NARRATION: And 20 turns into eating the entire pint. Which means you have to do a late-night drive to the supermarket and REPLACE the pint, so no one notices. PANEL 3: GRAMP holds the pint of ice cream, looking at it. NARRATION: But here’s the kicker… PANEL 4: GRAMP goes back to eating the ice cream. NARRATION: You now have to eat the new pint DOWN TO THE LEVEL IT WAS BEFORE. ——— Want 5,000 more comics like this? I just finished reading the entire series from the start. Being caught up is sad.

But if you haven't read it, I can't recommend it highly enough. Really amazing blend of comic strip humor with deep world building and a great plot.

TODAY'S COMIC: Hoisted by the wind...
PANEL 1: GRAMP, an older bald man with a grey mustache, runs past an open window while a stack of papers on an end table starts to fly away in the wind. NARRATION: Hav eyou ever had a stack of paper get completely hoisted by the wind? PANEL 2: GRAMP grabs after flying pieces of paper, his shirt lifting up to show his belly. NARRATION: It’s ridiculous. The papers are bouncing around like mad, in a weird pattern of physics that makes no sense. PANLE 3: Three small dogs bounce around a room: OSO, a fawn pug, lays on his belly with all 4 legs stretched out. DIGBY, a brown daschund flies above OSO, twisting in the air.
