I don't understand why it's an issue. We went from the Pierce Brosnan era to the Daniel Craig era without "M" changing and no one batted an eyelid.
It's not like any of the series is believable or realistic so I don't know why they are fretting beyond it being a bad case of buyer's remorse!

I cannot speak for Chicago, but here in Reading, our fancy town centre had plenty of unoccupied shops. There's this thing called "the internet" and it has changed how people shop.

He's a guardian alright, as long as the guardian being referred to is Sylvester Sneekly!

Unless he means "guardian" in the sense of Sylvester Sneekly/The Hooded Claw in "The Perils of Penelope Pitstop".

So I guess it sounds like your box might have faulty non-volatile storage which is probably harder to fix.

No idea. Mine kept wanting to reformat the hard drive, so it was a no brainer that the drive was faulty. Interestingly, I did not need to redo any settings. It must keep all its channel info, tuning, location etc in non-volatile storage on the board.

Meanwhile, my wife's school has a waiting list as couples and families have moved out from London to all the new housing here. But in other parts of Wokingham there are falling rolls as older households aren't moving on once the children have grown up and moved out.

At some point I'd like to vote for something rather than just voting to ensure the Tories/Reform don't get in.

Such an excellent series of books. I have given copies of "Europe in Autumn" to several of my friends.

Though I wager ocado and Sainsbury's deliver round your way.
To mangle a quote from Douglas Adams , you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemists but that's peanuts compared to the nearest shop to Rum selling fresh veg!

I'm reasonably optimistic . Trump may want to deploy national guard troops in lots more Democrat cities. But that needs lots of attention. His administration is lacking in competent people. Also, winter is coming and New York is big. This'll likely snowball into a big mess for him very quickly!

The Fiat is ULEZ exempt and surprisingly cheap to insure and run if you are a young driver. My son drives one. Because it is so small, he never has any problems finding a parking space near his Fulham flat.
